Formed in 2004, the Slammers embarked on a whirlwind journey, fusing a high energy mix of swinging, rocking, jump jive'n boogie into a captivating show packed with fun, excitement, and great music! Highlights so far include a studio CD on global release; live shows from London's 100 Club to Planet Music in Athens; Festival Appearances on the Southbank, at Kinsale, Derry, Cork, Bude and Aarhus Jazz Festivals, and a storming set at Warrington's BluesFest which is now available as a live CD!

 The Riverboat Jazz Festival in Silkeborg, Denmark, is a huge internnational event, attracting top bands and huge crowds. The Slammers had a fantastic time, playing three top gigs in the giant marquees that filled the buzzing town, culminating in the Town Square Finale.  

The band are delighted to confirm that they will be returning to Cork Jazz Festival in October, and then on to Greece to perform at the Athens Swing Ball! Some great UK dates coming up to..
The Slammers are very pleased to introduce new band member Albert Garza, joining the horn section on Baritone and Alto Saxophones.  Check out those solos! (and that Texan accent!)
