Formed in 2004, the Slammers embarked on a whirlwind journey, fusing a high energy mix of swinging, rocking, jump jive'n boogie into a captivating show packed with fun, excitement, and great music! Highlights so far include a studio CD on global release; live shows from London's 100 Club to Planet Music in Athens; Festival Appearances on the Southbank, at Kinsale, Derry, Cork, Bude and Aarhus Jazz Festivals, and a storming set at Warrington's BluesFest which is now available as a live CD!

The Slammers are delighted to be appearing at the Collaboration Festival in aid of Help for Heroes. It's over the August bank holiday, and promises to be a great weekend with a top line-up. The Slammers will perform on the main stage on Saturday night, hope to see you there....
The band were delighted to receive an invitation from Ray Davies to appear at London's prestigious Meltdown Festival on the Southbank. It was an amazing night, playing in the wonderful Clore Ballroom in the Royal Festival Hall, directly after Ray Davies' opening night show!  More festival news: the band will be making a first visit to Scotland for a Saturday night slot at Callander Jazz Festival in October!
